Product News: Leapio Is Now in Claude and ChatGPT

You can now connect Claude or ChatGPT to Leapio and ask about your go-to-market data in plain language: which accounts have been active, which channels bring in revenue, and what a specific person did before they upgraded. The assistant answers from your Leapio data through Leapio's MCP server, not from its general knowledge.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT

In Claude, on the web or desktop, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and enter the Leapio MCP URL:

In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode and add a connector with the same URL. In Claude Code, add it from your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http leapio https://api.leapio.com/mcp

Either way, you sign in with your Leapio account and approve access for your organization, so there's no API key to paste.

Ask the Questions You'd Build a Dashboard For

Each question maps to Leapio tools, so the answer comes from your data:

• "What has acme.com done on our site in the last 30 days?" The company tools return the company's activity metrics and its most active users.
• "Which acquisition channels brought the most revenue this quarter?" The revenue tools break revenue down by attribution channel.
• "What did jane@acme.com do before she upgraded?" The profile tools return that person's activity, sessions, top pages, and referrers, subject to the same consent rules as the rest of Leapio.

The tools cover event counts and trends, unique users, property breakdowns, funnels, retention, revenue, companies, and a person's profile and sessions.

Scoped to Your Organization

The assistant reads your data and can't change it. Every tool is scoped to the organization you authorize and uses the same permissions your account has in the dashboard, and you can remove the connection at any time.
